We are witnessing something extraordinary—truly seismic in scale. I’ve now confirmed directly with organizers of the No Kings Day movement that over one million people are marching in what’s shaping up to be among the largest coordinated demonstrations in recent American history.

As of this hour, over 2,100 separate protests have erupted across 20 countries, uniting voices across continents in opposition to the authoritarian drift of the Trump Administration. In the United States alone, over one million people (probably more) have taken to the streets in what organizers are calling an unprecedented mass mobilization.
The images coming in are staggering. In Philadelphia, the crowd has surged to nearly 100,000, filling the streets. In San Diego, protest lines stretch for miles.

Los Angeles organizers are calling today’s turnout “historic,” with civic centers and major boulevards gridlocked by peaceful demonstrators.

Cities like Chicago and New York are reporting some of the largest gatherings in recent years as well.

I’ll have a full breakdown of the day’s events, key moments, and powerful voices from the front lines later this evening once I’ve had a chance to compile and digest all the fast-moving developments.
If you’re out there protesting—whether in the streets, online, or supporting from home—drop a comment below and share where you are. Your voice matters. Your safety matters. Stay vigilant, stay peaceful, and stay loud.
