NEWS: Trump Falsely Claims he Has Been "Totally Exonerated" While Confirming he Will Funnel Billions of Taxpayer Dollars to 'Board of Peace'

Good evening everyone. This afternoon Donald Trump falsely claimed he was totally exonerated in the Epstein files. That claim is not supported by the public record. The released documents reference Trump, and there has never been a full, transparent investigation that would justify declaring him cleared. It is astonishing that no reporter immediately pressed him on that discrepancy.

At the same time, Trump is proposing to direct billions of taxpayer dollars to his so-called Board of Peace, an entity he would control. We also now have the full Les Wexner deposition released publicly, adding another layer of detail to the story.

Here is my commitment to you. No matter the party. No matter the title. No matter how powerful or well connected. No matter the threats. I will not stop. I will continue digging, documenting, and reporting until every individual in the United States and beyond is fully held accountable for their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Here’s the news:

  • Trump called Prince Andrew’s arrest “a shame” and “very sad,” adding that he considers himself an expert on such matters because he has been “totally exonerated.”
  • Maria Farmer, the first known Epstein survivor, issued the following statement after Andrew’s arrest:
  • Epstein Survivor Marijke Chartouni reacted to Andrew's arrest: "If only the US Justice Department acted as decisively. It took British police less than three weeks from the release of the latest tranche of Epstein files to arrest Andrew, making Pam Bondi and Kash Patel look increasingly inept."
  • This is Andrew leaving jail today:
  • Donald Trump said he wants the United States to contribute $10 billion in taxpayer funds to his “Board of Peace,” though such a transfer would require congressional approval that he has not received, prompting critics to warn the board could function as a slush fund under his control amid ongoing disputes over federal spending and a partial government shutdown. Here are the countries that attended the signing:
  • When asked about Barack Obama saying aliens are real, Trump accused Obama of improperly sharing classified information, said he did not know whether aliens exist, and called Obama’s comments “a big mistake.”
  • New Mexico’s Department of Justice is investigating an allegation, surfaced in recently released federal documents, that Jeffrey Epstein ordered the burial of two foreign girls near his Zorro Ranch, a claim contained in a 2019 email reported to the FBI, though the Justice Department has cautioned that some disclosed files include uncorroborated or false accusations.
  • In newly released video from his House Oversight deposition in the Epstein investigation, Les Wexner said he never witnessed Jeffrey Epstein have sexual contact with young women or girls, and testified that while Epstein once recommended massage therapy to him, he never mentioned being massaged by underage girls.
  • During his House Oversight Committee deposition, Les Wexner’s attorney appeared frustrated with his responses and told him, “I’ll fucking kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, ok?”
  • The full Wexner deposition:
  • In a newly released deposition, Les Wexner said he attended some Victoria’s Secret fashion shows where both Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump were present, and remarked that Trump would introduce himself to him and that he found it “kind of odd” Trump attended because he had nothing to do with fashion.
  • This is the new banner up at the Department of Justice today:
  • At the inaugural Board of Peace meeting in Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump appeared to struggle to stay awake as other leaders spoke, with video showing his eyes closed and head drooping at times before he jolted awake during applause, raising questions about his alertness during the event.
  • Donald Trump suggested he will work with Republicans to get rid of the filibuster to pass new voter legislation:
  • At the “Board of Peace” meeting, Jared Kushner said that “people are not personally profiting from this,” pushing back on suggestions that those involved stood to gain financially from the initiative.
  • President Donald Trump signed an executive order invoking the Defense Production Act to protect domestic production of glyphosate-based herbicides such as Roundup and elemental phosphorus, seeking to shield manufacturers from liability amid tens of thousands of cancer-related lawsuits against Bayer, a move critics say prioritizes chemical companies over public health while the administration argues it is necessary for national security and food supply stability. Last month, RFK Jr. said that the chemical is linked to cancer:
  • According to The Guardian, Donald Trump reportedly reversed his support for the UK’s plan to transfer sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius after learning the UK would not allow US bases such as Diego Garcia to be used for a potential pre-emptive strike on Iran, linking the deal to possible military action and calling Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s move a “big mistake,” complicating the agreement’s path through Parliament.
  • According to The New York Times, the husband of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Dr. Shawn DeRemer, has been barred from entering the Labor Department after at least two female staff members reported that he sexually assaulted them at the agency’s headquarters, including an incident reportedly captured on security video, with Washington police and the department’s inspector general investigating the allegations.
  • NBC News has confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security is seeking approval to purchase a $70 million Boeing 737 Max 8 outfitted with luxury features including a bedroom, showers, a kitchen, flat-screen TVs, and a bar, saying it would be used for deportation flights and Cabinet travel and would save money compared to military aircraft, though some ICE officials have questioned whether the jet is necessary or practical for mass deportations.
  • Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger, a former CIA officer and three-term congresswoman who recently won the Virginia governorship by a double-digit margin, will deliver the Democratic response to President Trump’s State of the Union address, outlining plans to lower costs, protect health care, and defend civil service workers amid a partial government shutdown and ongoing clashes between Democrats and the White House .
  • A report by Senator Adam Schiff found that during Trump’s first year back in office, the Department of Homeland Security committed over $144 million to guns, ammunition, and tactical gear, with ICE’s weapons spending quadrupling and CBP’s doubling from the previous year. The purchases include multimillion-dollar contracts for rifles and 9mm handguns, along with tens of millions for ammunition and crowd-control devices, drawing criticism that the administration is militarizing immigration enforcement amid fatal shootings, allegations of excessive force, and a broader $165 billion funding increase to DHS.
  • According to NBC, a Russian asylum-seeking family detained for more than four months at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in Texas was released after their lawyer sought medical relief and NBC News highlighted their case, with the parents alleging unsafe and unhealthy conditions including moldy food, inadequate medical care, and prolonged detention of their children beyond the usual 20-day limit; DHS had defended the detention and conditions, but the family, who fear persecution in Russia due to the father’s opposition to Vladimir Putin, will now stay with sponsors in California while their asylum case proceeds.
  • A California judge scolded members of Mark Zuckerberg’s team for wearing camera-equipped Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses into a Los Angeles courtroom during a major social media addiction trial, warning that any recordings must be destroyed or she would hold them in contempt, and ordering anyone wearing AI glasses to remove them immediately amid strict bans on recording devices and concerns about juror privacy.

See you in the morning.
